As I've travelled around again recently, and had the opportunity to speak to a variety of "Church Folk", I've learned again that people really want to like church. They believe. So many on the fringes believe so strongly, but the brand of Christianity their beliefs subject them too is not relevant, real, or reassuring. To keep their faith, they have had to hold back from the designated flock. Anyone who sees this, and manages to address it while still in the church environment, will not be able to hold all the attenders in the building.
So to this generation, encourage the next generation to not give up, and to the previous generation... don't stop them. Faith and service has to be reborn with every generation.
