If you find your way into a Catholic Church, you are likely to find a crucifix somewhere in the worship place. Perhaps many. A crucifix is the cross, with Jesus on it. The emphasis in crucifixion terms in the Catholic church is a Savior that suffered and died.
If you go to your typical Protestant, or Evangelical church, you'll see a cross without Jesus on it. The emphasis here is of a risen Savior.
Catholics have Jesus on the cross in their churches.
Protestants have empty crosses in their churches.
Adventists.... usually have no crosses in their churches.
I know why that is... it is said we do not want to create any graven image. The danger is, that for all our would have rightness, we end up leaving Jesus out altogether. Let's not do that. At all.
