I think many of us hope that if someone has a question about our chosen faith that there will be someone around to answer that question. This is what pastors are for anyway right? Or that wonderful spiritual person the hovers where needed so beautifully... or the Sabbath School teacher that has all the answers.
And sure, being connected to people you trust, who know more of the facts than you do is a wonderful thing - and believe me, we pastors do it too. But you should be able to give a reason for the hope you have, for why you believe what you do. No one can answer that for you. It's your reason, and your witness. And that is more powerful than any piece of clever information will ever be.
