I see this so often.
A preacher (or would be preacher) takes a solid Biblical truth. And then another. They read the Bible to their congregation - and the congregation hear's two truths.
It's all good so far.
But then this "Biblical Preacher" takes the two truths, adds them together and suddenly comes up with a third truth.... that on examination has nothing to do with Scripture at all - and this is then used to prove their own (Biblical?) point of view.
And the congregation goes home duped. I mean the preacher read from the Bible and everything. Right?
A preachers "Hippocratic Oath" if I may: I promise to tell the truth. The whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God.
