I did not choose to come into this world a male.
I did not choose to be white.
I did not choose to come from a Western nation.
I did not choose to be born with terribly good looks (Ok, you are probably easily convinced on this one) ~ I didn't even choose this English accent.
I did not choose to live in 4 countries by the time I was 12.
I did not choose to be taught reading at an early age.
I did not choose parents that seemed to go to great lengths to bring up a healthy, well rounded child.
I did not choose a Christian home to grow up in.
But I choose not to take all the incredible advantages and use them to put others down.
I choose not to use what I have been so abundantly blessed with to make sure that those not like me don't join my privileged club.
I do choose to carry on educating myself beyond the feelings for things I've accumulated over my years.
