Right now I'm rolling off 2 and some weeks in England, a driving trip to Texas - first for the Adventist Pastors Convention, then for some of the GC. After a few days at home (monitoring the women's ordination vote) I went off to the best Camp Meeting I've ever had the chance to be part of. Now I am at home winding up the final two weeks of summer. My daughter went home Sunday, and my son leaves this Friday. It's been an amazing summer...
But I am now turning from imagining and planning the fall season here at church and online, to actually doing it.
The above picture will be the first thing you see when our new website for my Merced church goes up in few days. We are finally getting our fantastic "Bible Bag" ready this week to hand out to addresses we get from people interested in Bible study (more on this to follow). Pathfinders is heating up, and my Mariposa church is starting a very new, very big, chapter in it's history. Our school there closed down this summer, and before we spend the money we used to spend on the school on who knows what - we plan on getting intentional with that.
All this to say, it's been a bit quiet on here the last few weeks. But in the middle of my writing, pastoring and pathfinding, I really enjoy what I get to do here - so will be back with a wonderful year here starting next week, ... Monday August 10.
Thanks for following along, I really enjoy your company.
